Practical Leadership Workshops

Get out of reactive mode and build systems that actually work.

Leading people while getting your own work done isn't easy. Between competing priorities, constant questions, meetings, and deadlines, it's easy to spend your days reacting instead of making meaningful progress.

Cadence workshops help managers and leaders create more clarity, confidence, and capacity through practical systems they can put to work immediately.

No fluff. No one-size-fits-all productivity hacks. Just real tools for real leadership challenges.

The Cadence Leadership Lab

Better leadership isn't about doing more. It's about building better ways of working.

Get Your Week Back is just the beginning. The Cadence Leadership Lab is a developing series of hands-on workshops designed to help managers and leaders tackle the everyday challenges that make leading people and delivering results harder than they need to be.

We're exploring workshops focused on:

Stop Being the Bottleneck

Create clearer decision-making, delegation, and team ownership so everything doesn't have to run through you.

Meetings That Actually Move Work Forward

Build meeting and communication practices that create clarity, accountability, and progress.

From Big Goals to Actual Progress

Turn strategic priorities into actionable plans, clear ownership, and consistent execution.

Manage People Without Managing Every Move

Establish repeatable practices for one-on-ones, feedback, coaching, and accountability.

Make Great Leadership Repeatable

Bring your management practices together into a practical operating system for your team.

Each workshop will focus on a real leadership challenge and provide practical tools you can apply immediately.

Why Cadence workshops are different

You need something you will actually use.

Real challenges.

We focus on the everyday problems that consume leaders' time and energy—not hypothetical leadership scenarios.

Practical tools.

You'll leave with frameworks, templates, and systems you can begin using immediately.

Small-group learning.

Our interactive format creates space to ask questions, share experiences, and apply what you're learning.

Systems, not quick fixes.

We look beyond individual behaviors to the expectations, communication practices, and processes that shape how work gets done.

Built for real life.

No system works perfectly on day one. We help you start, test, adjust, and find your Cadence.

Angela McMillan

Founder, Cadence

I've spent my career building teams, leading initiatives, navigating change, and helping organizations work more effectively.

Along the way, I've learned that some of the biggest challenges leaders face aren't actually leadership problems. They're systems problems. Unclear expectations. Inconsistent communication. Decisions without ownership. Priorities without a plan.

I created Cadence because I believe great leadership shouldn't depend on having superhuman managers who can juggle everything. It should be supported by systems that help people succeed.

Through Cadence workshops, I share practical approaches I've developed and used throughout my career to help leaders create more clarity, consistency, and capacity.

Great leadership, made repeatable.
